Meet Our Dentists
Dr. Cali Salazar
Dr. Cali Salazar is a Memphis Native and graduate of Christian Brother’s Highschool (CBHS), Christian Brother’s University (CBU) and received his doctor of dental science from the University of Tennessee’s College of Dentistry in 2002.
Prior to entering private practice, he was mentored by and worked with Dr. Fred Heros – a well-respected dentist and activist for the Memphis community. Driven by his passion to serve, Dr. Cali Salazar has been treating patients for over two decades; taking pride in helping people find relief from dental pain and creating a culture which he describes as a “family” at Salazar Dental Group.
During his free time, he enjoys traveling, attending concerts and playing golf. He’s married to his wife, Melissa, and together are the proud parents of two cats named Nano and Wills.
Dr. Jose Salazar
Dr. Jose Salazar is a Memphis Native and graduate of Christian Brother’s Highschool (CBHS), Christian Brother’s University (CBU) and received his doctor of dental science from the University of Tennessee’s College of Dentistry in 2003.
Prior to entering private practice, his career began in mobile dentistry traveling to treat under privileged kids and providing preventive dental care to jail inmates. He describes his work as an honor and opportunity to help those in need. Today, Dr. Jose Salazar has been in private practice for over 15 years in all areas of general and cosmetic dentistry.
When he’s not working, Dr. Jose Salazar enjoys playing golf, reading, meditating and exploring new restaurants. He also takes pride in being a father and enjoys spending time with his 13 year old son and 12 year old daughter.
